Library Painting Program: Wood Slice Ornaments

  • Arvada Library 7525 West 57th Avenue Arvada, CO, 80002 United States (map)
A purple starry sky with a dark green forest is painted on a round wood slice. There are tiny stars and a crescent moon in the sky of the painting.

Watercolors: Starry Sky Constellations

Learn to use acrylic paints to create a Starry Sky Wood Slice Ornament. This class is for beginners, but all skill levels are welcome. I will have several example wood slice paintings on display so you can get inspiration for a simplified version or a more complex version. This is a great way to build confidence in using acrylic paint as well as create something together. No experience required. Bring a friend and let’s have fun creating a piece of art inspired by the beauty of our night sky!
