My name is Chrissy Sparks and I am an artist & painting instructor living in Arvada, Colorado. I started painting in 2003 and sold my first painting in 2009. I have since sold my work across the US and internationally. Some of my collectors include teachers, scientists, astrophysicists, a retired NASA astronaut, and more. I am inspired by the Cosmos and our place in it, and often paint celestial objects as well as landscapes and flora. I enjoy using Acrylics, Watercolors, and am currently studying oils.

I began teaching watercolor and acrylic painting classes in 2022. Some of my partnerships include Jefferson County Libraries (9 locations), Broomfield Library, and private group classes. I am now also offering some private painting classes through Eventbrite.
