Class Info
Time: 5:30-7:30pm (please arrive 10-15 minutes before to get settled)
Media: Watercolors on 6”x9” watercolor paper.
If you’re interested in working through the process of using a photo as a reference, this class is for you. We go over basic watercolor techniques including brush handling to achieve different looks. Our paintings will be inspired by the photo above as we work through learning how to plan our composition, color mixing, and painting the “feeling” of a painting rather than copying our reference photo exactly. The point of this class is to focus on building confidence in color mixing and working with watercolors, while also having a bit of freedom to make changes to our painting (such as adding additional colors in the sky).
This class size will have limited seats available to allow for more time for me to help you with your painting process. As we move through the steps together, you will have the chance to ask questions as well as extra paper available to practice on.
